NAME
WOTS — a Solana memecoin named after Winternitz One-Time Signatures.
SYNOPSIS
The memecoin whose treasury and liquidity sit in a quantum-resistant vault.
DESCRIPTION
Normal Solana wallets sign with Ed25519, which relies on elliptic-curve math. A large enough future quantum computer running Shor's algorithm could in theory work out the private key from the public key. Winternitz signatures (WOTS) don't use that math at all: they are built only from hash functions, so they are considered quantum-resistant. The trade-off is that every WOTS key can safely sign exactly once. So the vault burns its key after each withdrawal and rotates to a fresh one, and you can watch that happen on-chain. WOTS vaults on Solana are real tech (Solana's own team has published a Winternitz vault demo). $WOTS is a meme coin built around that idea.

Why rotate? A WOTS signature reveals part of the secret key. Sign one message and you're safe. Sign a second one with the same key and an attacker could start forging. So the vault treats every key like a match: strike once, throw it away. Each rotation is a visible on-chain step.
